I hold a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and a Doctor of Behavioral Health, and I have been a practicing SLP for more than ten years. I started out working with adults and teens. Then in 2019 I moved into pediatrics, and not long after that I was doing virtual schools through COVID. Today I own a pediatric private practice here in Murfreesboro, which is where most of what you will find on this site comes from.

Doing virtual schools during COVID taught me something blunt: nobody has time, and nobody wants to type in an email address just to get a word list before a session starts in five minutes. Materials either work in that reality or they do not get used.

Somewhere along the way I realized I was printing the same /r/ list I had printed in my very first job. Same words. Same clip art. Same three columns. Our field has been passing the same handful of worksheets around for decades, and the good ones are locked behind a subscription while the free ones want your email address first. I wanted something new and fresh - lists that are actually complete, sorted by sound instead of by spelling, and available the moment you need them.

So that is what this is. Every word list, every set of minimal pairs, every worksheet and picture card on this site is free to download and print, right now, with no account and no email capture. There is no premium tier and nothing is gated. If you are a parent who just walked out of an IEP meeting holding a list of sounds and no idea what to do next, you should be able to get something useful in under a minute.

The site is ad-supported, and that is the whole business model. The ads cover hosting and the time it takes to keep the content accurate. Nothing here is for sale, and nothing here is bait for something that is.

One honest caveat: these are practice materials, not a treatment plan. A word list cannot tell you which sound to target, in which position, at what level of complexity, or when to move on. That judgment is what an SLP is trained for, and nothing on this site replaces an evaluation. If you are a parent working through these pages on your own and something is not clicking, that is usually not an effort problem - it usually means the target or the level needs to change, and that is exactly the kind of thing an SLP can sort out in a single session.

A note on the pictures: the illustrations on the cards and in the games are original to this site. Cards awaiting an illustration remain usable as word cards while the art is completed.
